Starting a new website in 4 steps!

This is the short-cut version of the 7 Step guide to creating your dream website!

Step 1. The Website Domain & Host

Pick a domain.

Example:

Name “How to start a new website”

Domain “http://www.howtostartanewwebsite.com”

Use Blog Host for your domain and hosting.

Step 2. Installing Your Blog Of Choice

This takes less than 60 seconds once you’ve got your domain and website host.

1. Simply log into your Blue Host account.

2. Go to the control panel and scroll down to Software / Services. Press the Word Press button

3. Click the Install Button at the bottom.

4. Click Advanced options and give your blog a name. Add a password for your admin login.

5.  “Read” and Tick the legal options.

6.  Click the login URL link. Login using Admin and the password you set.

Step 3. The Fun Part – Finding Your Own Style

Click The Appearance button on the left hand side then click themes. Now Press the install themes button.

Search for a theme you like. When you find one press the install button and then once installed press activate.

Step 4. The Time To Write – Final Step

Now your blog/website is setup for you to start writing. Simply goto the post button on the left side of the screen and press add new.

Now Start writing!
